Magical Disney Weekend!

Hello Goodtimers! It's Sandy here with some info on my March class that I'll be teaching at the store the end of the month.  It's hard to believe that March is here!  Anyway, for those of you who love all things Disney, have been to Disney World or Disneyland or plan to go or even if you just have a Disney theme birthday party coming up, you might want to consider making this unique, fun project. Last year I designed this camera shaped box with four wallet style albums for myself and a friend. So many asked about it that I also created this one for Disney photos using the Simple Stories Say Cheese paper collection.  I'm thrilled that Susie wanted me to teach this class and even planned a Magical Disney Weekend around it with other classes and the option for you to stay at the retreat while working on these fun projects as well as your own projects.

In this blog post, I'm sharing the details about my class.  For more information on the other classes available during the Magical Disney Weekend, check the Scrappin' Goodtime facebook page and newsletter archives.

The camera box measures 8 1/4" wide x 8" tall and is 6" deep.  It holds FOUR mini wallet style albums that you will construct in class and the albums each measure 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" and have several fold out pages and flip ups and pockets!  Each one is decorated differently and is perfect for your Disney photos and memorabilia.  There is even a bonus "Polaroid piece" that slips into the slot on the front of the camera box for your most favorite photo.  When not on display, that piece fits into the box with the albums.

Below are the decorated mini albums.  You will get EVERYTHING you need to compete your own camera box and mini albums at this class including the PRE-CUT papers, stickers, chipboard stickers and other embellishments.

This is a TWO part class.  In session one we will construct the camera box. That's right, you will use a pre-cut chipboard kit to assemble your camera box and then you will pattern it with pre-cut papers and decorate it.  In the next class, we will construct all FOUR of the mini albums with pre-cut cardstock and as time allows pattern and decorate the albums. Again, the papers for each album is pre-cut for you including all flowers, tags and pockets.

Now for the sign-up details!  This class is being held at Scrappin' Goodtime during the Magical Disney Weekend Retreat.  You can sign up for the entire weekend!  (Space limited to 12 so don't delay in signing up if you are interested).
