Not just any garage sale, it's a scrapbooking garage sale. We did this last year and it was a huge success. We had several die cutting machines that sold for well below suggested retail price. We had paper, stickers, embellishments, tools, totes, books, and tons of magazines. Some of the items had never been used. It's a great way to clean out your scrapbook room or tote so you can make room for new items. If you are not going to use it, sell it and buy something you will use. The way the sale works is that I will rent out the tables in the retreat area. There are a total of 15 tables. Each table will rent for $5.00. (you can share it with a friend). All your items must be marked with your initials and the sale price. You will receive store credit for items sold. The price has to be $3.00 or more. You can bag items together to make it have a value of $3.00 or more. If you need bags, I will sell them to you at my cost of 3 cents each, or you can buy big zip lock bags at the grocery store. The garage sale will be from Friday, Aug. 26th until Saturday, Sept. 3rd. You can start bringing your items down any time this week, but I will not start selling until Friday morning at 10:00 am. You do need to come pick up items not sold or I will dispose of them on Tuesday after Labor Day. People have asked if they can sell items other than scrapbook items. You can, but most people coming to the sale are going to be looking for scrapbook items because it's at a scrapbook store.
